Yuksom - युक्सोम

Yuksom is situated 33 km away from Pelling .The first king of Sikkim was coronated hereon the throne made of stone close to the Norbugang monsatery and the chorten.The foot print of one of the lamas , Latsun Chembo,who consecrated the king can also be seen close to the throne . A small but beautiful Kartok lake is also situated in yoksom and is nice place to spend a quite moment. About the two kilometres walk uphill from Yoksom is the Dubdi Monastery, which is the oldest in Sikkim.
