P.T. Tso Lake

There are beautiful lakes around Tawang. One is Pankang Teng Tso (P.T. Tso ) lake. It is a fetching heaven for tourist only 17 km away from maddening crowd of township. It is a beautiful natural site and provide tourist a lucky chance for deep communion with nature. Other eye catching lakes are Sangetser lake , Banggachang lake.

Namdapha National Park

Nestled in the Himalayas and border in Myanmar, the Namdapha National Park in the Changing district of Arunachal Pradesh, is a wildlife haven. This is the only reserve in India which is home to all the four big cats - tiger, clouded leopard, leopard and the rate snow leopard. Other wildlife found in this 1985 sq km area includes the great Indian Hornbill, the Red Panda and the Hoolock gibbon. This is the only Park where the altitude varies from 200 m to 4500m, covering sub-tropical to Alpine ecosystems.
