This little known wildlife sanctuary is 112 km from Gwalior, in north-central Madhya Pradesh Once the summer capital of the Scindias of Gwalior, Shivpuri's royal ambience lives on in its exquisite palaces and hunting lodges and the graceful intricately embellished marble chhatris erected by the Scindia princes. Shivpuri is also famous for the Madhav National Park.
