Goa is connected by Indian Airlines, Jet Airways, and Sahara Airlines flights from Mumbai (Bombay), Bangalore, Cochin, Delhi, Chennai (Madras), Mangalore and Trivandrum. Gateway for Goa is Dabolim Airport not far away from the city of Panaji.Airport at Dabolim, 29 km from Panjim. Indian Airlines flights from Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kochi and Trivandrum. Indian Airlines office (Tel 223826) in Bandodkar Marg, Panjim and at airport (Tel 512788). Jet Airways (Tel: 431472) and Air Sahara (Tel: 230237) also connect Goa with Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Kochi, Punt and Kozhikode.

Panaji is connected with Mumbai (Bombay), Delhi, Pune, Secunderabad, and Jaipur. Madgaon is the nearest railway station. Advance reservation can also be made at the Railway Out Agency at the Panaji Bus Terminus.Plenty of luxury coaches and sleepers leave Mumbai (opposite Bombay Gym near Metro Cinema and opposite Bandra Talao) for Goa in the late afternoon, reaching Panjim early the next morning.
With the commissioning of the coastal Konkan Railway line, rail distances have been reduced significantly. There is a direct daily express connection with Delhi, Vadodara, Thiruvananthapuram, Mangalore and Mumbai.

Konkan Railways which was completed in 1997 ,running down the coast from Mumbai to link with the southern rail network at Mangalore . There is direct express between Margao and Mumbai C S T [11.5Hrs]and five between Mysore and Mangalore[5.5Hrs ].There are several passenger trains available from Kurla [16 Km from Mumbai ].Train to Bangalore via Londa 689 km take about 15 Hrs . For Delhi it takes 44 Hrs from Goa There are two main train stations .Margao and Vasco-da-Gama .There is ralway reservation office upstairs in Panaji's Kadamba bus stand which is opened Monday to Saturday 9:00 to 11:30 am and 1:30 to 5:00 pmGoa has two major railway stations - Margao and Vasco-da-Gama Both these stations are located in the southern area of the state. The South Central Railway terminus is at Vasco-da-Gama and the Konkan Railway terminus is at Margao. All the trains usually halt for a few minutes at a number of other smaller stations in Goa. The South Central Railway has one train, the Nizamuddin-Goa Express coming in daily in the early morning. This train departs from Delhi and comes to Goa via Pune.

By Road Panaji is connected by good motorable roads with all the major towns in India via the National Highways NH 4A, NH 17, and NH 17A.BY BUS Panaji is well connected with the major cities of Maharashtra and Karnataka. Goa , Karnataka and Maharashtra state Road Transport Corporation all provide services for Panaji upto the Kadamba bus stand . The time taken for Mumbai is 15 to 18 Hrs ,Bangalore 14 Hrs ,Mangalore 11 Hrs ,Mysore 16 Hrs, Hospet 9 Hrs and Pune 12 Hrs .
Buses are available for LONDA ,where a daily direct railway connection to Mysore is available ,HUBLI ,which is a railway junction on the main Mumbai to Bangalore line where trains are available for Gadag for both Bijapur and Badami and Hospet and Hampi and BELGAUM .
There are also private buses which are very luxurious ,available here and the offices are outside the entrance to the bus stand . The private buses are air-conditioned and available for Mumbai ,Bangalore ,Hampi and other destinations . Bus Stand
Goa, Maharashtra and Karnataka state road transport corporations (STRCs) all operate services out of Panaji`s Kadamba bus stand. Typical timings are; Mumbai (17 hours), Bangalore (14 hours), Belgaum (five hours), Hospet (10 hours). If you miss the Hospet bus you can easily take a bus to Hubli (seven hours) and get onward transport from there. From Hubli to Hospet is another 4:30 hours. The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) also has direct services to Bijapur, Badami and Shimoga.Plenty of luxury coaches and sleepers leave Mumbai (opposite Bombay Gym near Metro Cinema and opposite Bandra Talao) for Goa in the late afternoon, reaching Panjim early the next morning.
Buses from Mumbai (17 hrs), Mangalore (12 hrs), Jog Falls (change at karwar) and other places. Panjim bus-stand is 1 km from centre. The most pleasant way to Goa used to be the ferry from Mumbai. This has at last been replaced by a high-speed catamaran, which does the run in seven hours.
