Buses from Madurai to Thondi, Paramakudi to Karaikudi and Tiruchi go to Kalayarkovil. But there is no bus stand there at all.The shelter at this stand has been demolished. Passengers are facing hardship during rainy season.The government has allotted funds for the constructions of the bus stand.RailKaraikudi Jn, connected to Chennai (Tambaram Jn). Or catch an overnight train to Trichy or Madurai.
