How to reach

Bus Stand

By bus. It is much cheaper (5 to 10 times) but more complicate and it will take ±4.5 hours. Take a taxi or an auto rickshaw (3 wheelers vehicle) up to Coimbad bus terminal. Take a bus for Pondicherry. Ask for a bus point to point by the East Coast Road and go up to the main bus stand. Take a taxi or an auto rickshaw from the bus stand to Auroville and ask to be dropped at CSR, Auroshilpam at Auroville.

Railway Stations

Travelling upto Villupuram (which is about 50 km from Neyveli) on the main line (Chennai - Trichy) by train from Chennai and taking up bus to reach Neyveli. Frequent bus services are available from Villupuram to Neyveli.
