Panch Kedar Trekking

The Panch Kedar trek includes all the five shrines associated with the legend. All of them are situated in the Kedar Valley. At Kedarnath, which is situated at the head of Mandakini River, the Linga is a natural rock that resembles at the hump of a bull. Madhmaheshwar, situated at the base of Chaukhamba Peak is at an altitude of 3500m. Here the Linga is worshipped in the form of a naval. Tungnath, where the arm of Shiva appeared is the highest temple in Garhwal and is situated at an altitude of 3810m, 500m above the temple of Tunganath is Chandrashila. The panoramic view of the Himalayas is breathtaking from here. Rudranath is where the face of Shiva had appeared. Here, there is a natural rock temple, in which the Shiva Mukha is worshipped. To reach Rudranath, one has to trek through alpine meadows and dense forests, crossing an altitude of more than 4000m. Kalpeshwar is situated in the beautiful valley of Urgam. There is a cave temple here, and Shiva is worshipped in his matted hair form. Itinerary
Day 01 - DelhiArrival Delhi and transfer to hotel. Afternoon city sightseeing of Delhi. Evening tour briefing. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02 - Delhi - Rishikesh (340m) 225 km by Road
Morning after breakfast drive to reach Rishikesh via Haridwar in 6 hrs. Arrival and check in hotel for overnight stay at hotel.
Day 03 - Rishikesh - Pipalkhoti (1219m) 230 km by Road
Morning after breakfast drive to Pipalkhoti. On the way, sightseeing at Deoprayag. 7/8 hrs drive reach Pipalkhoti. PM visit local market. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 04 - Pipalkhoti - Kalpeshwar (2134m) 35 km by Road/9 km Trek
Morning after breakfast drive to reach Helaing. On arrival start trekking to reach Kalpeshwar in 5 hrs. Trek on the way. Visit Urgam village and PM Puja at the temple. Overnight stay in tent.
Day 05 - Kalpeshwar - Dumak (2134m) 12 km Trek
Early morning after breakfast start trek. En route visit to the Garhwali villages for meeting with the local families and traditional dress. Arrival Dumak, a very small village. PM visit village and temple. Overnight stay in tent.
Day 06 - Dumak - Toli (2789m) 8 km Trek
Early morning, after breakfast start trek 6 hrs gradually ascending through thick forest containing a reach variety of flora and fauna numerous herbs areas found in this area. And the local are known to pick them for local use. Overnight stay in tent.
Day 07 - Toli - Rudranath (2286m) 7 km Trek
Camping, Adventure Tours IndiaEarly morning after breakfast start trek walk to cross the pass of Rudranath Gradual but long up walk of 7 hrs. PM visit Shiva Temple and around beautiful panorama mountain with snow cover. Overnight stay in tent.
Day 08 - Rudranath - Ansuya Devi Temple (2500m) 10 km Trek
Early morning after breakfast start trek 6 hrs to Ansuya Devi passing through the coniferous forest. PM visit the famous temple of Ansuya Devi. Overnight stay in tent.
Day 09 - Ansuya Devi - Tungnath (3810m) 5 km Trek - 28 km by Road
Early morning after breakfast start trek down 5 km to road ahead and drive to Chopta and Trek Chopta to Tungnath. Afternoon Puja with Brahman. Overnight stay in tent.
Day 10 - Tungnath - Kalimath (2600m) 5 km Trek/47 km by Road
Early morning visit temple of lord Shiva. Then after breakfast trek down 5 km road ahead and drive to Kalimath. PM visit the famous temple Kalidevi. Overnight stay in tent.
Day 11 - Kalimath - Madmaheshwar (3289m) 12 km Trek
Early morning after breakfast trek 8 hrs and on the way visit traditional village. PM visit temple. Overnight stay in tent.
Day 12 - Madmaheshwar - Kalimath (2600m) 12 km Trek
Early morning after breakfast trek come back Kalimath. Overnight stay in tent/tourist bungalow.
Day 13 Kalimath - Gaurikund (1981m) 53 km by Road
Early morning after breakfast drive to Gaurikund. On the way visit Okhimath. Overnight stay at tourist bungalow.
Day 14 - Gaurikund - Kedarnath (3584m) 14 km Trek
KedarnathEarly morning after breakfast walk up towards Kedarnath 5 hrs along with of hindu pilgrims from different cultures of India on the way is full of Sahadus Chanting Religious hymns. Kedarnath is most significant of all Hindu Shrines the feeling and atmosphere and aweing spiring Shrine temple and participate with flowers. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 15 - Kedarnath - Gaurikund (1918m) 14 km Trek
Early morning after breakfast trek down to Gaurikund. Evening at leisure to explore local market. Overnight stay at tourist bungalow.
Day 16 - Gaurikund - Haridwar (292m) 243 km by Road
Early morning after breakfast drive to Haridwar 7 hrs. Upon the arrival check in hotel. Evening for Arti ceremony witness at Har Ki Pairi, ganga simmering with Purning temples and Echoing Prayers. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 17 - Haridwar (292m) - Sightseeing full day
Early morning after breakfast visit to Mansa Devi Temple for hill view of Ganga and this religious town. Later visit the amazing Ghat Hindus pour ashes of their end. Evening free. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 18 - Haridwar - Delhi 203 km by Road
Early morning after breakfast drive to Delhi 6 hrs. Check in hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 19 - Departure
Transfer to Airport for international flight departure
