Qualifications

This trek into Everest Base Camp is strenuous but does not require that you have any previous trekking or mountaineering experience. It does not require any technical experience; only that you be in good physical conditioning and be able to hike for 4-6 hours over hilly terrain with a light day pack. Food

Mountain Madness guides pride themselves on preparing amazing mountain cuisine, and they have built a reputation for providing the best coffee in the Himalayas! All of your meals are provided on the trek. The meals consist of a variety of both American cuisine and numerous traditional Nepali dishes.

At a minimum, all of our guides hold current Wilderness First Responder certification and are proficient in technical rescue and evacuation skills.
