Located in Andaman district covering an area of 47 Sq.km the park was established in 1979. It is 20 km away from Port Blair the capital town of Island. Port Blair is the nearest town and airport. The fauna of the park is primarily Andaman wild pig. January to March are the best months for visiting the park.
