Lakhowa Wildlife Sanctuary, Assam - लाखोवा वन्यजीव अभयारण्य

The Laokhowa Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the fascinating wildlife sanctuaries in Assam. It is located to a distance of 25 km from the township of Nagoan. It is a home to innumerable species of birds, animals and plants. The Laokhowa Wildlife Sanctuary covers an area of 70.13 sq. km. The pleasant eco-friendly atmosphere is the prime reason to hold many varieties of biotic lives in the Laokhowa Wildlife Sanctuary. Laokhowa Wildlife Sanctuary in Assam is also characterized by high levels of precipitation.
