Kangar Valley National Park - कांगार घाटी राष्ट्रीय उद्यान

This park was set up in the year1982 in Bastar district covering an area of 200 Sq.km. The nearest town is Jagdalpur at a distance of 30 km which is also the railhead for visiting the park. The nearest airport is Raipur at a distance of 30km which is also the railhead for visiting the park. The nearest airport is Raipur at a distance of 330 km from the park.

The fauna of the park consist of leopard, tiger, carcal, bison, chausingha, wolf, crocodile and python. March to June is the best period for visiting the park.
