Silicon Interfaces Pvt Ltd (SIPL) was incorporated in 1990. The company operates in the IT and VLSI design & verifi cation service segment. It also offers on-site contract consulting services. SIPL has divided its business into two main groups VLSI design group and the software group. SIPL has set up overseas offi ces in the US and UK. During FY07, SIPL earned its entire revenue from the overseas market. Europe continued to be the biggest revenue contributor with close to 45% share followed by America at 35%. SIPL's clientele includes names such as Microsoft, Intel, HP, Texas Instruments, Toshiba, ST Microelectronics and Cadence among others.

Silicon Interfaces has two divisions VLSI Designs and Software

Vlsi Design

Silicon Interfaces offers Design Services in the areas of Networking, Data Communications, Interconnect, Embedded and Storage, primarily in the areas of Design, Modeling and Verification of complex SoC, ASIC and FPGAs. Apart from Digital Designs the Company also does work on Analog and Backend Physical IC Layout and Embedded/System Software.

These services are also offered to EDA Software Development Companies for Product and Customer Support as well as Test of EDA Tools.

Software Development

Silicon Interfaces offers solutions and services in the Technology segment and as a Technology-facilitator for Retail, Banking, Financial, Telecom, Travel and Trade segment for Internet, Applications and the Enterprise using Microsoft, J2EE and IBM technologies on Microsoft Operating Systems and UNIX on Intel compatible and other processor platforms.

Further a team for Content, Use-ability and Graphics ensures a professional, user-friendly and aesthetic presentation to the development.

Silicon Interfaces offers on-site contract consulting services and offshore turnkey project development in the Company Development Centers with front-end Project Management Services from the closest proximity center. The projects developed in India are typically one third in cost!!!

Clients also have a choice to hire a pool of structured and hierarchical resources with full state-of-the-art IT and telecom infrastructure as well as development environment as a scalable as well as deployable extension of existing teams for cross-border development work, known as Virtual Development Center (VDC).

The Company focuses on strong Project Management (Planning and Monitoring) and has teams responsible for Configuration Management, Documentation and Test as well as programs for Quality Assurance. We also focus on cost-effective structured software and design life cycle through use of case, version-maintenance, test and bug reporting, and documentation tools for specification, system design, programming, testing or verification, documentation, training, maintenance and version upgrade.
