    Palolem Beach is also known as "Paradise Beach". This beach in south Goa is about a mile long and it provides seclusion and idyllic scenery. One of the prominent beaches in the South Goa beach circuit, the crescent-shaped Palolem beach is well-known for its sweeping expanse of silvery sand and idyllic surroundings. With the majestic Western Ghats hills rising in the backdrop, the palm-fringed Palolem beach presents an enchanting spectacle. The scenic beauty of the beach fetched it an appearance in the film 'The Bourne Supremacy' (2004) where it is shown as the Indian residence of Jason Bo.

    Palolem Beach, is one of the most beautiful and idyllic beach and it has 1.5 km crescent shaped beach. The beach lies on the southern coastline of Goa amidst outstanding natural beauty. The sweeping crescent of white sand is fringed by a shady rim of coconut palms and the whole beach is hemmed in at either end by rocky crags. It is comparatively fast emerging as a popular spot for day-trippers from Colva and Calangute. Many travellers drift down from the northern beaches to spend days, weeks or even months chilling out here. There is very little development and it's extremely laid-back. Most accommodation is in simple, rickety beach buts or villagers homes, with a handful of more solid guesthouses scattered around. Palolem Village is nestled in the palms backed from the beach. With the large influx of tourists to the Northern beaches and the resultant increasing commercialisation of these places. Palolem fits the bill and in recent years, more and more tourists have been making a beeline for this palm fringed golden beach.

    Palolem Beach, flaunts a crescent shaped bay flanked by swaying coconut palms hemmed by a pair of rocky crags. The white sand beach in an arc is picturesque. . Palolem remains a traditional village, where the easy pace of life is overshadowed by the serenity. Palolem Beach, Goa is a white sand beach facing a blue bay between two headlands. The little wooded islands on the northern headland are very attractive and the best way to explore it is with the help of the fishermen. Palolm Beach, Goa is a fishing beach and many fishermen will readily ferry you across. Goa Palolem beach is an ideal beach that any tourist would desire for complete relaxation. While on the beach you can also venture into the sea where you will be able to spot the dolphins. Palolem Beach features some shacks selling seafood snacks, souvenirs and clothes of the shapeless, bright, informal kind. Panaji, the capital, is more than 70 km away from Palolem Goa. The village located nearby has several cafes and souvenir stalls serving to day-trippers and vacationers who turn up in droves on sightseeing tours of the beaches in Goa.

    The Palolem beach is relatively secluded in nature and sparsely inhabited. Palolem is a fishing beach and one can see fishermen venturing into the high seas in their fishing boats. There is an abundance of Dolphins in this area and enthusiastic tourists often hop onto fishing boats with a hope of spotting them. At the northern end of the beach is a fresh water stream. Across this stream is a tiny, undeveloped island that can be accessed by just swimming across during low tide. The other attractions on this beach are the Dolphin cruises and the fishing trips. These are offered at quite a reasonable rate.

    This stretch of white sand dominates the southern coast of Goa. Until a few years back, it was among the virgin beaches of Goa. However, it couldn't escape from the eyes of the tourists. Although a few developments have taken place, the beach still has a soothing aura to it. A large area of the beach now accomodates a lot of small shacks that taper off as you move towards the south.

    This beach is 37 km away from Margao. Just west of Chaudi, it is one of the most enchanting and gorgeous beaches in Goa. It is relatively deserted, with the backdrop of Western ghats, situated in Southern Taluka of Canacona. The silvery sand of the beach and a back drop of clean blue sky make this beach a favourite spot for the tourists.

    Palolem is one of the most enchanted beaches in Goa, but not that crowded and messy. Any how since a couple of years, increasing numbers of tourists have started to come to this beach, and there a good growth of cafes, stalls, hotels, etc near the beach.

    The Palolem beach has yet to acquire a proper tourism infrastructure and one can come across a few shacks selling seafood snacks, souvenirs and beach wear and sarongs. For accommodation, one can scour the beach huts or the handful of guestho.
