The beach is a popular hang out among the tourists especially during the annual carnival. Various clubs and organizations of the place participate in the carnival with great fervour.

The Fort Kochi beach is located at the distance of about 12 km from the Kochi city and about 2 km away from the Boat Jetty at Ernakulam. You can reach the beach by a boat as the boats are operated regularly between the boat jetty and Fort Kochi.

Kochi International Airport is 20 km from the city centre. The city is well connected with most major cities of the country by air.

By Rail

Kochi has three railway stations, Ernakulam Junction, Ernakulam Town and Cochin Harbour Terminus on Willingdon Island and can be reached from most cities in India.
