Byndoor's beautiful long seashore is famous for its sunsets. The serenity and tranquility of this place attract tourists. Ottinane near Baindur is famous for its glorious sunset.

Byndoor beach is 45 km from Maravanthe, a non-descript beach on the fringes of Kundapur taluk where sandpipers peck into whatever the waves bring to them.
