Baga Beach is about 10 minutes from Mapusa, and 30 minutes from the state capital, Panaji. There are frequent buses to Panaji and Mapusa from Baga and Calangute. Most buses from Panaji stop at Calangute and a few footslog further up to Baga. Mapusa is around 8 km away from Baga.
